VEIL ARCHITECTURAL GLASS PANELS
Product description
Architectural glass panels hand-crafted at the Gustav van Treeck workshops in Munich. Transparent to semi-transparent, each panel's textured surface. Referencing leaf veins, organic growth structures, and the translucency of a dragonfly's wing. Filters and refracts light as it moves through a room. Veil operates between interior architecture and sculpture: a panel that doesn't divide space so much as define the quality of light within it.
Project description
Developed as part of Bodo Sperlein's first comprehensive collaboration with Gustav van Treeck, founded 1887. One of the most important mosaic and glass studios in Europe. Debuted at MENU, Milan Design Week 2026.
My involvement
Led artwork development and scale resolution for the panel designs. Responsible for translating organic surface motifs into technical drawings at architectural scale, ensuring texture and translucency gradients read correctly across different panel dimensions and lighting conditions.
