COVE COLLECTION
Product description
A bench and outdoor kitchen in cast concrete stone for Gravelli by Godelmann. Two pieces sharing a single biomorphic design language. The Cove Bench reads as a monolithic sculpture: flowing form, no applied detail, designed to become a permanent feature of garden or public space. The Cove Outdoor Kitchen applies the same formal logic to a functional object. A sculpted concrete body with a contrasting terrazzo worktop, conceived from the outset for the exterior rather than adapted from an indoor typology. Both pieces position concrete stone as an architectural design medium rather than a utilitarian one.
Project description
Developed for Gravelli by Godelmann. The design-focused sub-brand of one of Europe's leading concrete stone manufacturers. Both pieces debuted at MENU, Milan Design Week 2026.
My involvement
Led design development end-to-end across both pieces. Responsible for 3D modelling, form development, visualisation, and technical drawings through to production handover. The biomorphic forms required sustained development across both digital modelling and Gravelli's casting process, with the kitchen adding the further challenge of resolving functional requirements within a sculptural concrete form.
