Design Blok 2026 - Graphics
Project description
CreditsDuring DesignBlok 2026, Bodo Sperlein took over the Czech Modernist Pavilion in the gardens of the Museum of Decorative Arts (UPM) in Prague. Bringing an international design perspective into direct dialogue with the city's architectural heritage, the exhibition presented a curated showcase of furniture, lighting, porcelain, textiles, and architectural materials spanning new and signature collaborations. The graphic identity and color choices were specifically developed to reflect and honor the cubist aspects of the exhibition architecture and Prague's rich modernist legacy. Utilizing precise geometric forms, disciplined structural layouts, and a curated palette that mirrors the tactile warmth and angular stone of the pavilion, the graphics unify a diverse group of partner brands and product typologies under a single cohesive spatial narrative.
My involvement
Led the design and production of the exhibition's full graphic identity, developing the visual language, color scheme, and collateral from initial concept through to final artwork. Designed to complement the Czech Modernist context, the graphics create a seamless dialogue between the exhibition's physical staging and its visual communication across print and digital media.
