ARCUS OUTDOOR SEATING
Product description
A bench and stool in precision-cast concrete stone and certified teak, developed in collaboration with Garpa and Gravelli by Godelmann. The gently curved silhouette carries an unexpected visual lightness: solid material that appears almost to float. Arcus is designed to be permanently anchored in the garden, functioning as a sculptural element of the outdoor space rather than furniture placed within it.
Project description
A three-way collaboration between Bodo Sperlein Studio, Garpa, and Gravelli by Godelmann. Debuted at MENU, Milan Design Week 2026.
My involvement
Led design development end-to-end. Responsible for 3D modelling, form development, visualisation, and technical drawings through to production handover. Working across concrete stone and certified teak as combined materials, the development required resolving the curved silhouette across both components and producing technical outputs suited to Gravelli's casting process.
