CREST & GROVE TEXTILES
Product description
Two high-performance outdoor Jacquard fabrics for Garpa, woven in Italy. Grove uses fine linear structures to build a calm, ordered surface. Composed and graphic, referencing the rhythm of traditional weaving. Crest moves in the opposite direction: an abstract wave pattern with organic flow and movement, light and shadow making the surface read as alive. Designed as companions, together they form a complete outdoor textile language.
Project description
Developed for German outdoor furniture brand Garpa, for use across their garden cushion and furniture cover ranges. Both fabrics debuted at MENU, Milan Design Week 2026, upholstering the Newhaven collection on the terrace of All Saints' Anglican Church, Brera.
My involvement
Led artwork development and colour selection across both fabrics. Responsible for translating the design direction into repeat-ready Jacquard artwork and developing colour ways suited to exterior use and Garpa's existing material palette.
